Mobile Web - November 16 2011
Money transfer site, Xoom, has joined the legions of mobile web converts by launching a mobile website which allows users to transfer money from their mobile device. The site allows customers to view their accounts and transactions, as well as cancelling any transfers they do not wish to proceed with.
More flexible and accessible than having to develop a range of mobile apps, the new service can be accessed by simply entering m.xoom.com into a smartphone or tablet browser. Users will then be given the option to log in and view their account. If an account isn’t already held, the user can create one instantly and create the required money transfer. Full payment options are available via the mobile site, including the amount, date and method of transfer. There’s also a help centre and Spanish language option if required.
