Grocery retailer Brookshire’s have implemented some new mobile technology, which aims to make grocery shopping as simple and hassle-free as possible for their customers. Using MyWebGrocer‘s Plan2Gro 5x software, the store is introducing the idea of mobile devices as a one-stop-shop when it comes to food shopping.

Using the technology from MyWebGrocer means that Brookshire’s, and other retailers, can easily gather all required data, including store locators, online recipes, coupons, shopping lists, newsletters and more and put them to use via the mobile web. Having all of this at their fingertips mean that customers can avail of the most efficient way of shopping yet. Multi-platform integration makes this idea even better. Got a few minutes during the day? Start a shopping list on a computer, then pick it up later on an iPhone or Android device. All platforms are synchronized in real time so amendments can be made on the go without fear of losing information. Once in store, a handy shopping list, relevant recipes and coupons will be handily available on the customer’s smartphone.
